Gina Knows Mortgages

It’s not often that you hear someone say they “love” mortgages.  But Gina Best does.  She needed a website that could reach out to more clients and the website needed to be able to grow with her as well as be easily update able.  We built her website in WordPress, which allows for both rapid grow and easy access to keep everyone in the know. They believe that mixing politics with design makes for one serious drag. They believe that design can (and will) change this world. They believe that believing in a better way isn’t idealistic; it’s gutsy. They believe that inspiration is everywhere. They believe that nice people are the best people to work with. They believe that greed is ugly. They believe that designing for charity is bliss. And they believe that passion is important.

The Fun

The City of Richmond required a website to showcase their Winter Festival of the Arts Weekend.  2010 is the 3rd year we have been doing this website, although 2009 saw a break due to the OZone festival for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.  Each year, Monica gives the festival a new colour scheme and we update the website to apply the fresh new look.

About AAPS

Advanced Applied Physics Solutions (AAPS) is a nationally designated Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research, established at TRIUMF – Canada’s National Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics. We are focused on bridging the gap between innovation and commercialization in the physical sciences.

How I Help!

AAPS needed a website that would allow for in-house maintenance.  Their need to be able to add news releases on a whim was the top priority.  I needed to build a website that would allow for them to grow at the speed of light, so we created many templates for their pages that will allow for the addition of dynamic content that could be easily added and removed.

The AAPS website was built using WordPress and utilizing many of the plugins that wordpress has available.
