Shooting Indoors with Safety and Consistency
The Indoor Range at the North Peace Rod & Gun Club provides members with a controlled, all‑season environment designed to support safe and responsible shooting. This space allows members to practice fundamentals, maintain proficiency, and participate in club activities regardless of weather conditions.
Built with safety, structure, and responsible use in mind, the Indoor Range plays an important role in supporting year‑round participation and skill development.
A new Air exchange system was installed which should alleviate the lingering smell of gunpowder and lead. The shooting lanes are marked off and designed for a multitude of disciplines & sports. The backstop is composed of a modular block system that is made of ballistic rubber. Moveable ballistic shooting target stands have been created to allow multiple shooters to place a target at various ranges depending on their skill level.
APPROVED CALIBERS FOR SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE SHOOTING
The Chief Firearms Office has established caliber restrictions for the various North Peace Rod & Gun Club ranges. These are based on the design, construction, and topography of the range and the backstops. The North Peace Rod & Gun Club has the calibers approved for each range posted in the Main Office and at each range.
Members are responsible for knowing and complying with all caliber restrictions before shooting. Any infraction of these rules will result in consequences such as a suspension or revocation of range privileges.
20m Indoor Range
This range is approved for all handgun cartridges contained in the template groups .22 Long Rifle and 9mm Parabellum
The indoor range is NOT approved for shotguns.
NO MAGNUM CALIBERS OR BLACK POWDER WILL BE SHOT ON THIS RANGE DESPITE being in the Template Group.
