Open\u2011Air Shooting Supported by Structure and Responsibility<\/h1>\n

The Outdoor Range at the North Peace Rod & Gun Club offers members dedicated spaces for a variety of shooting disciplines in an open\u2011air setting. Designed with safety, visibility, and controlled layouts in mind, the outdoor facilities support both recreational practice and organized shooting activities.<\/p>\n

These ranges reflect the club\u2019s long\u2011standing commitment to responsible firearms use, respect for the land, and shared enjoyment of shooting sports.<\/p>\n

APPROVED CALIBERS FOR SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE SHOOTING<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The \u00a0Chief Firearms Office has established caliber restrictions for the various <\/em>North Peace Rod & Gun Club ranges.\u00a0 These are based on the design, construction, and topography of the range and the backstops.\u00a0 The North Peace Rod & Gun Club has the calibers approved for each range posted in the Main Office and at each range.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

Members are responsible for knowing and complying with all caliber restrictions before shooting.\u00a0 Any infraction of these rules will result in consequences such as a suspension or revocation of range privileges. <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

RANGE-SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Trap or Skeet fields are restricted to shot sizes 7.5, 8, or 9<\/p>\n

Currently the Skeet facility is closed!<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

50m Range<\/strong><\/h1>\n

This range is approved for all handgun cartridges contained in the template groups .22 Long Rifle<\/strong>, 9mm Parabellum<\/strong> and .357 S&W Magnum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Steel targets must be a minimum distance of 20 metres away from the shooting line for handgun and rim-fire rifle.<\/p>\n
